(Washington, D.C.) -- Three of America's biggest retailers are limiting purchases of the emergency contraceptive pills commonly known as morning-after and Plan B.

CVS, Rite Aid, and Walmart announced limits Monday following the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade which made abortion legal all 50 states. The pills have been in short supply since Friday's ruling.

To ensure a consistent supply, CVS and Rite Aid are limiting purchases to three and Walmart is limiting sales this week to four or six.
