Senate democrats work to codify into law same sex marriage

(Washington, DC)  --  Senate Democrats are working to put same sex marriage into law.  After the Supreme Court overturned Roe versus Wade this summer, Majority Leader Chuck Schumer took to the Senate Floor to talk about the work his colleagues on both sides of the aisle are doing to solidify the law pertaining to same-sex marriage.  The New York lawmaker urged Congress to work quickly before the "MAGA-controlled Supreme Court steps in."
