(Washington, DC) -- Control of the Senate has been decided.

A weekend win for Democrats in Nevada means they'll be retaining control of the Senate. It was Senator Catherine Cortez Masto who picked up the key victory in her race against forme President Donald Trump-backed Republican Adam Laxalt.

Democrats will have a chance to expand their majority by another seat with a runoff in Georgia coming up on December 6th. That pits incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock against GOP candidate Herschel Walker.

In the meantime, the House control remains up in the air almost a week after the midterm elections.
