(Austin, TX) -- Elon Musk is calling for the government to regulate artificial intelligence.

The Tesla CEO gave a three-hour presentation this week to investors at the Tesla factory in Austin, Texas, and laid out his "Master Plan 3" on how to expand the company and convert the world to clean energy.

The presentation included a video of the company's new humanoid robot, and Tesla executives explained how artificial intelligence was being used to train vehicles to drive themselves.

Musk warned, however, that AI is "quite dangerous technology," and said "regulatory authority" might be needed to "make sure it's operating in the public interest."
