(Portland, OR) -- Nike says it's going to stop using kangaroo leather for its soccer cleats.
The athletic shoe and apparel giant announced on Monday it will stop using kangaroo leather for any of its products by the end of this year.
Oregon-based Nike announced the move after lawmakers in its home state introduced a bill banning the sale of kangaroo parts.
