Pizza Delivery Driver praised for tripping suspect running from cops

(Brookhaven, PA) -- Police in Pennsylvania are commending a pizza delivery driver for tripping a suspect who was running from officers.

Officers were in a car chase involving a stolen vehicle near Philadelphia over the weekend. It ended after the car struck a pole outside a home where the delivery driver was about to drop off pizza.

The suspect got out and ran in the direction of the bystander, whose hands were full.

The delivery guy stuck out his leg and tripped the runner, who was then caught by police.

No word if law enforcement gave the driver a big tip for his efforts.
