(Manchester, NH) -- Republican Presidential candidate and current North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum continued his east coast swing Sunday as he stopped in New Hampshire, another pivotal state with an early primary.
Burgum began the day meeting New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu for breakfast at a Manchester diner, followed by a visit with some voters in the state.
Burgum also appeared on CBS News' Face The Nation program with host John Dickerson. In a nearly seven-minute interview with Dickerson, Burgum said his goal of the presidency is to improve the life of every American -- by focusing on the economy, energy and national security.
He says those three focuses are 'interrelated' and that the Biden administration is "180 degrees in the wrong direction on the economy, the energy policy and on national security."
Burgum says he has only made one campaign promise if elected -- to get to the southern border of the United States with Mexico in the first two weeks of his presidency.
