(South Williamsport, PA) -- A coach with Cuba's first ever Little League World Series team has gone missing.
In a statement, Little League officials said Jose Perez left where the teams stay late Saturday and did not return.
Little League went on to say it has contacted all appropriate authorities, but didn't say if Perez's disappearance is being considered a defection.
Cuba was knocked out of the Little League World Series on Sunday after losing to Panama by a score of 3-to-2.
