(undated) -- Parrot Heads around the world are mourning the death of Jimmy Buffett.
The "Margaritaville" singer passed away Friday night.
A posting to his social media sites said Buffett was surrounded by his friends, family, music and dogs, and that "he lived his life like a song till the very last breath."
No cause of death was revealed.
Jimmy Buffett was 76 years old.
