Fulton County DA Fani Willis details threats against her while prosecuting Trump case

(Atlanta, GA)  --  Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is detailing the threats she's been dealing with.

She tells "First State Update" they began when her office indicted former President Donald Trump and 18 others for allegedly interfering with the 2020 election in Georgia.

Willis told the Fulton County Board of Commissioners that the threats come in the mail, over the phone and even through text messages.

She's asking the commission for more power when it comes to vetting and hiring her own staff, saying that she has, quote, "got to have people who are loyal to me and that my life means something to."
