(Jerusalem) -- The prime minister of Israel says what his country will do to its enemies will reverberate for generations.
Benjamin Netanyahu [[ net-an-YAH-hoo ]] addressed his country Monday night as fighting with the Palestinian militant group Hamas raged on.
The prime minister also thanked President Biden for the United States' support.
The death toll has risen to nearly 12-hundred with thousands more injured on both sides of the conflict.
At least nine Americans are among the dead, according to the State Department.
