Trump requests mistrial in civil case

(New York, NY)  --  Former President Trump wants a mistrial in his civil business fraud case in New York.

Trump's attorneys filed a motion today claiming there's overwhelming evidence of bias against him on the part of the judge and his law clerk.

The Democrat-elected judge has already signaled he'll deny the motion.

This comes after the judge placed separate gag orders on Trump and his lawyers, barring them from commenting on court staff.

Trump is accused of illegally inflating the value of his assets.
