(Washington, DC) -- House Republicans are unveiling the text of their resolution to authorize the impeachment inquiry into President Biden.
The resolution would formalize the ongoing impeachment inquiry by three Republican-led committees.
The chamber is expected to take a vote on the matter next week.
Republicans hope formally launching the inquiry will put more legal weight behind the investigation.
The White House. has argued the inquiry was unconstitutional because it was not authorized by a full vote.
Republicans claim there's evidence the president illegally profited from his family's foreign business dealings.
