(Manchester, NH) — Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is dropping out of the presidential race and multiple outlets are reporting he plans to endorse former President Trump.
DeSantis posted a video on X and is expected to make a formal announcement later this afternoon. DeSantis was considered a front-runner early on, but finished a distant second in the Iowa Caucus and was polling in single digits ahead of Tuesday’s key New Hampshire primary.
The GOP race is now a two-person battle between Trump and Nikki Haley, who served as U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. during the Trump administration.
