Trump wins in New Hampshire

(Concord, NH)  --  Former President Trump is the clear front-runner for the Republican party's presidential nomination following a big win in New Hampshire.

Trump defeated former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley in Tuesday's New Hampshire primary.  The victory dealt a blow to Haley's efforts to unite an anti-Trump coalition of moderate Republicans and independents in the Granite State.  Despite the loss, however, Haley vowed to stay in the race and is hoping to score a win in her home state of South Carolina late next month.

On the Democratic side, President Biden won New Hampshire's primary as a write-in candidate.  Biden didn't appear on the ballot following an internal party dispute between New Hampshire and national Democrats over which contest will lead the nominating process.  Shortly after Trump's win, the Biden campaign said the "MAGA movement" has completed its takeover of the Republican party.
