(New York, NY) — Donald Trump’s defense team is resting its case today in his criminal hush money trial.
The New York judge told the jury the best thing to do is adjourn for today and hear summations next Tuesday after Memorial Day. The judge added he would expect the jury will begin deliberations hopefully at some point on Wednesday. Trump previously stated he would take the stand, but ended up not doing so.
Trump is accused of falsifying business records to cover-up an alleged sexual encounter with adult film actress Stormy Daniels in 2006.
