Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu set to speak to Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accepted an invitation to speak before Congress.

Congressional leaders invited Netanyahu last week and now they say he will make the address on July 24th. House Speaker Mike Johnson said the meeting will symbolize the U.S. and Israel’s enduring relationship, and will give Netanyahu a chance to “share the Israeli government’s vision” for establishing peace in the region.

Humanitarian organizations across the globe continue to call for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.
