WDAY RADIO — A northern California wildfire is now the largest active blaze in the U.S. Forestry officials say the Park Fire has burned more than 687,000 acres north of Sacramento.
As of this publication the wind-driven fire was 12% contained and fire crews hope to make more progress with temperatures expected cool somewhat.
The fire has destroyed more than 130 structures prompting evacuation orders for multiple communities in several counties.
