Grand Forks Olympians to join U.S. delegation to Olympic Winter Games opening ceremonies

WASHINGTON – A pair of Grand Forks natives will join Vice President J.D. Vance in the Presidential Delegation to the Opening Ceremonies at the Olympic Winter Games next month in Italy.

President Donald Trump announced Saturday that 2018 Winter Olympics American Gold Medalists Jocelyn Lamoureux-Davidson and her sister, Monique Lamoureux-Morando, will attend the opening ceremonies. Both played on the U.S. Women’s Hockey team.

They’ll join Vance and other dignitaries at the event, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Olympian Apolo Ohno.
