North Dakota capitol under shelter-in-place

BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota capitol has been placed on a shelter-in-place order by the Highway Patrol because of an armed suicidal person.

Law enforcement responded around 2:00 PM on Monday, April 20 and secured a perimeter.

Authorities say the person hasn’t made any threats to the public.

Highway Patrol hasn’t given a specific area the person is in saying only that they’re on the capitol grounds.
