ND House Rejects Wastewater Testing Ban

(Bismarck, ND)  --  The North Dakota House is rejecting a bill that would ban wastewater testing.  The bill would have banned such testing "for genetic material or evidence of disease" and was intended to address student privacy concerns in residence halls.  North Dakota's Department of Environmental Quality is analyzing cities' wastewater for the presence of COVID-19 as part of a study.
