(Bismarck, ND) -- A preliminary report indicates that COVID-19 was the third leading cause of death in North Dakota during 2020. The North Dakota Department of Health and Vital Records says there were 16-hundred additional deaths in 2020, most attributable to COVID-19. The initial report states eleven-hundred-57 deaths last year were caused by COVID-19.
