(Bismarck, ND) -- One of the faces of North Dakota getting a serious medical procedure Friday morning.
In a statement from his office, Governor Doug Burgum announcing that he underwent successful hip replacement surgery.
"The surgery went well, I feel good, and I’m looking forward to many pain-free horseback rides in the future,” Burgum said. “I am, however, sad to report that even though I haven’t used my four years of NCAA eligibility, my career as a hurdler is over."
Of course we all wish the Governor a speedy recovery from the operation.
