Second COVID-19 Strain Discovered In North Dakota

(Bismarck, ND) -- State health officials say a second strain of COVID-19 known as the California variant has been discovered in North Dakota.  The other strain known as the U-K variant has already been confirmed in the state.  Officials say the new strain is more contagious and can be more critical if it's contracted.  They recommend the vaccine as one way to fight the variant as well as COVID safety protocols.
