(Minot, ND) -- North Dakota State Fair officials are hoping Canadians will be able to attend the event.
The border between the countries remains closed through July 21st, only two days before the fair kicks off.
Event organizers say Canadian attendance is important to the overall success of the fair.
The fair runs from July 23rd to the 31st.
