(Bismarck, ND) -- A Saint Michael man is facing three counts of involuntary manslaughter linked to an August 11th vehicle accident.
Prosecutors say 18-year-old Winter Bigtrack was behind the wheel when he strayed from the road on the Spirit Lake Reservation, causing the vehicle to roll. Three passengers were killed in the crash, among them two children. A third child reportedly suffered serious injuries.
An investigation into the incident determined that Bigtrack, who had no license, had been speeding prior to the crash and was under the influence of both drugs and alcohol.
