Biden Approves Request For Disaster Declaration Due To June Flooding

(Bismarck, ND)  --  President Joe Biden has approved a request for a disaster declaration for the flooding, hail and damaging winds this past June in North Dakota.  Governor Doug Burgum asked for the designation after more than two-point-three-million dollars in damage resulted from the storm.  The damage was in counties in the northwestern and south-central parts of the state.  The declaration allows federal funds to be used to help the affected areas rebuild.
