(Bismarck, ND) -- The ongoing drought will affect foliage in North Dakota.
North Dakota Forest Service official Peter Gag says leaves will change rapidly this fall. When there's a drought, there's a shorter period where the foliage is visible.
Peak colors usually start next month, however the change is already starting in the Pembina Gorge area.
