(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota Department of Health is turning off comments and replies on its main social media accounts.
Starting Tuesday, people can't comment on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube posts from the entity. Officials say this is to stop the spread of misinformation on social media.
This will apply to all types of posts,while private messages will remain open.
