FEMA approves $6.1 million for North Dakota COVID relief

(Bismarck, ND) -- FEMA has approved $6.1 million in additional public assistance funding for North Dakota's COVID-19 response. 

In total, FEMA has provided 126.2 million in assistance to North Dakotans.

The latest addition from FEMA funding includes...

- $2.7 million to the North Dakota Department of Health for storage, transportation, and delivery of COVID-19 testing kits and sample diagnosis. 

- $3.4 million to the North Dakota Department of Health to provide temperature sensitive storage for COVID-19 vaccines via rental of storage containers, equipment and CO2 tanks to produce dry ice for vaccine transport.
