(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota is ramping up efforts to get children ages five-to-eleven vaccinated for COVID-19.

Governor Tim Walz has announced the launch of a webpage aimed to expedite the process of finding places to vaccinate children.

"We saw first hand what can happen with Lieutenant Governor Flanagan," said Walz. "She was taking care of her child and got it from her. This step can hopefully limit those kinds of things from happening and with that also decrease hospitalizations and of course death in the state."

The new website will also answer any questions parents and guardians may have about vaccinating their child. To find a vaccine location or to book an appointment, click here.
