(Bismarck, ND) -- Special Olympics North Dakota is headed into its winter sports season.
Members in the Bismarck-based chapter met Saturday at Midway Lanes for their first fundraiser. The team is hoping to raise about 20-thousand dollars through next year for equipment, travel expenses, and training.
The team also plans to restart the basketball program in January after the 2021 season was canceled.
