(St. Paul, MN) -- A Republican challenger to Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is throwing his hat in the ring.
Business lawyer Jim Schultz launched his campaign Thursday with a video announcement. Schultz is a political newcomer, and used his announcement to blame Ellison for property damage that happened during civil unrest that followed the 2020 killing of George Floyd.
Schultz is a Harvard Law School graduate and serves on the board of the Front Line Foundation in addition to his private sector work.
