(Ramsey County, MN) -- A suspect is facing charges in connection with a bomb threat at Ramsey County Courthouse last week.

Authorities say Dolores Alvarado was arrested Monday after he admitted to placing a bomb-like package on the steps of the courthouse the morning of December 20th. Officials say the device was very convincing and led to the bomb squad being called in after the courthouse was evacuated.

Alvarado is charged with felony threats of violence with intent to terrorize and says he committed the act because he "had issues with Ramsey County."
