(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum has proclaimed February 2022 as Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month.

Burgum says CTE Month is a part of a national campaign that encourages the participation and celebrates the value and accomplishments of CTE across the United States. The governor also encouraged classrooms across the state to participate during the month of February, saying CTE encompasses many different types of education, from classroom learning to certification programs to work-based learning opportunities outside the classroom.

The North Dakota Department of Career and Technical Education will celebrate North Dakota students and other individuals who contribute to the success of Career and Technical Education as “CTE Champions.” You can click here for more information.
