(Minneapolis, MN) -- A 17-year-old is facing charges for the homicide that prompted a no-knock warrant and the shooting of Amir Locke by police.

Mekhi Speed is Locke's cousin and was charged in the January 10th shooting death of a St. Paul man. Charging documents note that Speed had access to the apartment that was raided at the Bolero Flats Apartment Homes, but didn't live there.

Locke was shot after police say he pointed a gun at them from under a blanket.
