(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota tax collections are exceeding expectations.
Tax collections were 25-percent higher the anticipated in January. Much of the increase came from corporate taxes, which brought in 642-million more than expected last month.
Sales tax collections were two million more that expected. Money from individual income taxes was 42-million less that anticipated.
