(St. Paul, MN) -- Teachers unions in Minneapolis and St. Paul have issued a ten-day strike warning.

Leaders of both groups rallied Wednesday at the Bureau of Mediation Services office in St. Paul. The process of filing the intents to strike starts the clock on the minimum ten days' notice required by state law.

Negotiations have stalled in both districts over concerns about wages, student mental health supports, class sizes, and recruitment and retention efforts for people of color.
