(St. Cloud, MN) -- Allegiant Air is discontinuing its summer flights at St. Cloud Airport.
The flights to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Punta Gorda Airport are being suspended from May to October. St. Cloud Regional Airport Director Bill Towle says it will be the first summer since 2012 that the facility won't see commercial airline traffic.
The Allegiant flights to Mesa are typically discontinued temporarily in the fall when the airline does plane maintenance.
