Gas prices jump to new record high

(Heathrow, FL) -- The price of gas is shooting toward four-50 a gallon.

Triple-A reports the national average price for regular jumped two cents overnight to four dollars and 43 cents a gallon. That's the highest price ever for the fourth day in a row.

At three-95 a gallon, Georgia has the lowest statewide average and is one of only three states below four dollars a gallon.

North Dakota currently sits at four dollars and eleven cents a gallon.
