Tours set to resume at North Dakota capitol building

(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota Office of Management and Budget has announced that weekend tours will resume beginning Saturday, May 28th.

“We look forward to welcoming an increased number of visitors to the state Capitol during the summer traveling season,” said John Boyle, OMB Facility Management Director. “We enjoy being able to share the building’s rich history, unparalleled architecture and unique beauty.”

Boyle added that the tour guides enjoy sharing their passion for the building, focusing mainly on the ground, first and 18th floors during the tours.

Beginning May 28th, tours will be conducted seven days per week, with the following schedule, through Labor Day weekend:

  • Monday through Saturday, on the hour from 9 - 11 a.m. and 1 - 3 p.m.
  • Sunday, on the hour from 1 - 3 p.m.

Those wishing to request group tours should complete the tour request form on OMB’s website. Self-guided tours are not allowed on Saturdays or Sundays.
