North Dakota ranked fourth most patriotic in country

(Fargo, ND) -- North Dakota is near the top when it comes to those who love our country.

WalletHub has released its 2022 rankings for most patriotic states in the U.S, and ranks The Peace Garden State as the Fourth most in the nation.

The study compares all 50 states across 13 key metrics, including each state's military enlistees and veterans to the share of adults who voted in the 2020 election.

So, where did North Dakota stand out? The Personal Finance website released the following rankings for the state in these sub categories:

  • 1st – Active-Duty Military Personnel per 100,000 Civilian Adults
  • 21st – % of Adults Who Voted in 2020 Presidential Election
  • 22nd – Volunteer Rate
  • 16th – Veterans per 1,000 Civilian Adults
  • 1st – U.S. History or Civics Education Requirement
  • 21st – AmeriCorps Volunteers per Capita

The most patriotic state according to WalletHub is Alaska, while the least is Arkansas.
