Man killed by Horse near St. Cloud

(St. Cloud, MN) -- A man is dead after being run over by a horse over the weekend.

The 44-year-old man was killed by a Clydesdale horse Sunday afternoon, according to the St. Cloud Police Department. The victim was taken to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Police say the victim's 5-year-old son was in the carriage behind the horses when the man lost control and fell, and the child was unharmed. The victim from Isanti has not been identified.
