(St. Paul, MN) -- University of Minnesota parents are pushing for action to address crime concerns on and near campus.

U of M Regent James Farnsworth hosted a hybrid forum Wednesday, where parents shared their thoughts on campus safety in person at the state Capitol and through Zoom. Fellow regent Darrin Rosha attended the in person meeting while Farnsworth led the meeting virtually.

The University of Minnesota has outlined several steps to improve security, including investing in more overtime for UMPD officers.
