(Traverse County, MN) -- A Minnesota beekeeper's Facebook rant is costing a him 370-thousand dollars.
A Traverse County jury awarded fellow beekeepers Nancy and Keith Budke the triple digit judgement recently after they determined that Nick Olsen had libeled them on social media.
Olsen blamed the Budkes after bees he bought from them died in transit, claiming they had several diseases. Olsen called them names and warned others not to buy bees from the Budkes.
The Budkes sued Olsen, bringing in testimony that the bees were healthy and suggesting that Olsen was responsible for their deaths.
