(Bismarck, ND) -- Senator John Hoeven is helping send off a North Dakota National Guard Unit.
“At home and abroad, our Guard members do vital work each day to protect and secure our nation,” said Hoeven. “As their third deployment, in addition to the vital work they’ve done through all types of emergencies and natural disasters, the Soldiers of the 1-112th Aviation Battalion are once again answering the call to serve their fellow Americans. The sacrifices made by them and their families do not go unnoticed. They have our deepest gratitude, and we will continue to work to ensure they receive the benefits, recognition and support that they have earned.”
Hoeven commended the service of the 1st Battalion, 112th Aviation Regiment Sunday.
The regiment is deploying to provide aviation support along the nation's borders.
This will be the battalion's third deployment.
