Employee at Minnesota Target store dies

(Coon Rapids, MN) -- An employee at a Target store is dead after suffering a medical emergency while at work.

The incident happened to a female employee Friday at the store on Springbrook Drive Northwest in Coon Rapids. As a result, the store closed down the rest of Friday afternoon.

A statement from store management says, "We were deeply saddened to learn this team member later passed away, and we extend our sincere sympathies to her family and friends."
