(Bismarck, ND) --  A teenager is in custody following Friday's pre-dawn shooting in Bismarck that left one man dead.

Police say witness testimony and other evidence led them to the 16-year-old suspect.  The teen is accused of fatally shooting 28-year-old Maurice Thundershield at a North Bismarck hotel around 12:30 a.m. before fleeing the scene.  The suspect reportedly was later taken into custody in Warren, Minnesota.

Police say authorities are working to get him extradited back Bismarck as soon as possible.
