(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota is issuing 487-dollar bonuses to over a million approved frontline workers.

Governor Tim Walz announced the payments Monday, saying checks will start going out Wednesday.

Walz expressed his appreciation for the workers who "helped us continue functioning during the pandemic."
