(Grygla, MN) -- Border Patrol agents say a dozen migrants from Great Britain and Ireland were detained last month in northern Minnesota.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced over the weekend that the migrants were arrested after two separate cars entered the country unlawfully on September 25th. Both cars were spotted at a gas station outside Grygla, where one drove off.

Four migrants from the vehicle that stayed were arrested. The other group was found in a hotel where a couple and eight migrants were arrested.

Their current status hasn't been released.
